Sydney 2022 - Good Friday Weekend
The first time we went to Sydney was when we were 6 months pregnant with Noah in 2016. It was our last hurrah before parenthood - a babymoon as you would call it. We stayed at the Old Clare Hotel but didn’t end up doing much because Krystin was so tired from the pregnancy that we would literally just went out to eat before heading back to the hotel to rest.
It was nice to head back revisit Sydney this time with 2 children. We stayed at the Old Clare Hotel, for old times sake. We also hit one of our favourite restaurants, Ester, with the help of a babysitter, and find new joy in Chaco Ramen - so good that we hit it twice in as many days.
The next 3 days is spent at an apartment at Manly Beach, relishing in its convenience and close proximity to the beach. The apartment is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s city centre, with the morning light flooding the home with an almost magical quality. We catch up with old friends, organise a photoshoot with the wonderful Trish of Tealily photography, who has been our resident family photographer for many years.
