I wrote “Ice Cream in February” when my wife was pregnant with my first born. I remember the anticipation and the nervousness, and how it changed the dynamic of our family. When my wife was pregnant with our second child, that changed again and felt similar but was so different at the same time.

I want to celebrate this wonderful miracle of pregnancy, and also tell a bigger story of the pregnancy within the family. The anticipation, the nerves, the connection, the expectation, the excitement, the belly whispers, the promises - all of it.
