One of my aspirations as a photographer is to capture the essence of couples in an authentic manner, portraying their true selves in every frame. Our session with John and Pei started at their home doing ordinary things like making coffee, lounging on the couch as if it were a lazy Sunday afternoon and playing with their beloved dog. We then proceeded to Port Melbourne, a place that held a special significance in the early stages of their romance. Though Port Melbourne's beaches and scenery may not be considered remarkable, it held significant meaning for the couple, making it an ideal location to capture their genuine emotions in the photographs.
