At a Sunglass Hut, 2 colleagues meet for the first time. Elly’s first impression of Navin is that he looks like Usher. As fate would have it, they get along like a house on fire. 5 years later, Navin & Elly are planning a wedding - it's everything like a wedding but at the same time, is nothing like a wedding - 2 ceremonies, a charcoal dress, black flowers, exposed brick, high ceilings, Indian food & of course, Usher-like dance moves.
When we meet, they tell me they don't have many photos together as neither of them feel particularly photogenic. I smile, tell them not to worry and just to focus on having the most fun on their special day. I'd like to think the moments show them at their truest - a combination of vibrant, striking tones and making each other laugh unexpectedly.
