Dandenong Ranges Wedding - Simon & Anna

“Jon was so great! He made everything so clear and easy on the day and beforehand too. Our biggest concern was feeling or looking really awkward when it came to the photos but Jon was so relaxed and calm that it couldn't have felt easier. To then get our photos back and get so much joy from looking at them - what more could we ask for?” - Simon & Anna

My son was due to be born on 5 days before Simon & Anna's big day. When we found out we were pregnant, I let Simon & Anna know about the possibility that I might not be able to be at their wedding and gave them the option to go with another photographer. Their response was that they really wanted me to be part of their big day so were happy to take the risk.

I arrived at Simon's nervous & slightly anxious & informed him about the possibility that I might need to leave at any time in case Krystin goes into labour. And I will always remember Simon's response, he said to me "won't that be an awesome story!" Thankfully (or not so thankfully for my poor wife), my son graced us 5 days later and I managed to be part of their big day from start to finish.

So the story on the 25th of February started with a reflection of Simon & Anna's faith at Kilsyth Baptist Church followed by a reception nestled under the tall trees of Dandenong Ranges. It was all about good food (not to mention, an awesome donut table), fun & dorky activities and relaxed vibes amongst friends & family.

Simon & Anna, thanks for trusting me but more importantly, for exercising faith despite the odds.
